Last Week In Photography - Farewell To My Studio - End Of An Era
I started this iteration of my business in 2014, having previously photographed sometimes for fun and sometimes for pay since the 1960s. In 2014 I finally became a self employed photographer operating as Stephen Silverberg Photographic LLC.
I set up a full service studio in the lower level of my 1,400 square foot home and operated through flood and good weather, year round.
Until last month.
Age (mine) and weather being the determining factors, my home, in the College Heights neighborhood of Ypsilanti finally got to be too much to maintain and moving snow and mowing lawns lost its dubious allure.
So…… Enter smaller condo living by the lake.
I’ll miss my great neighbors but (see “moving snow and mowing lawns”)
This session was the last in the studio and the young woman who came in for headshots, portraits and full length photos was a joy to photograph and the perfect finale prior to tearing down everything and bidding a fond farewell to 12 years in the space.
I am still operating full time with outdoor sessions, real estate listings and added services soon to be announced. I love meeting new clients and producing high quality work, affordably.
